Gary Scott grew up in Wyoming, Michigan and graduated from Calvin Christian High School. In 1992 he graduated from Calvin College. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1996. Gary was fortunate enough to serve in the US Army for three years: one year in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs in 1997 and two additional years in the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum in New York. In late July of 1999, Gary purchased an existing practice and established Family Dentistry of Caledonia. In 2003, the practice moved into its current location.
Gary has been married to Nicole since 1992 and they have four children. They live in Caledonia. Gary enjoys spending time with Nicole and the children as well as serving in church and school activities, working out, and following University of Michigan athletics.
Dr. Ally Grove is a native of Wheeling, West Virginia. She graduated from Ferris State University in 2018, where she obtained a Biology and Spanish degree and was a student-athlete on the women’s basketball team. Following graduation, she attended the University of Michigan to complete her DDS degree in April 2022. Dr. Grove is excited to be moving to the west side with her husband to enjoy everything the ‘best’ side has to offer. Dr. Grove loves anything sports, especially football and basketball. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and dog on the Michigan lakes, trying any and every donut possible, serving the church community, working out, and being outdoors! Dr. Grove is excited to provide comprehensive care along with the opportunity to get to know your family at Family Dentistry of Caledonia.
What started out as an opportunity her senior year of high school has become a lifelong passion in dentistry for Deanna. She has held multiple positions throughout the years in the dental office over the past 30 years. Since 1995 she has enjoyed the great patients of Caledonia and the surrounding area. She has been with Family Dentistry of Caledonia since its inception in July of 1999. Deanna enjoys watching patients' smiles become enhanced with the new techniques that dentistry offers. Deanna takes great pride aiding patients by reviewing dental benefits and patient financing. Deanna looks forward to the annual Mid-Winter Dental Meeting in Chicago when she can refresh on the new updates regarding dentistry and its care. When not at Family Dentistry of Caledonia, Deanna loves spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. In her spare time she likes to go antiquing and spending time together on family vacations.
Marcee has worked in customer relations since 1982. She spent 18 years as a customer service representative at a local bank. She has enjoyed working at Family Dentistry of Caledonia since September of 2004. Her years of experience have given her the tools needed to provide our patients with friendly and accurate service. Marcee has been married for over 40 years and has 2 adult children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys reading, biking and kayaking in her spare time.
Connie is a graduate of GRCC's Dental Assisting program and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has over 40 years of experience in the dental field and is part of our administrative team. Connie has a passion for building relationships and is committed to excellent patient service. Outside of work, Connie enjoys spending time with her family, reading and working out.
Katie started working in dentistry in 1996. She has worked as a dental assistant and receptionist. Katie has worked at Family Dentistry of Caledonia since 1999. Katie loves meeting all the patients that walk through our door. Katie enjoys helping patients with any questions they may have and help them feel as comfortable as possible. Out of work, Katie enjoys knitting, spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
Isabella is our New Patient Coordinator and has been with Family Dentistry of Caledonia since March 2020. Isabella attended Grand Valley State University and graduated April 2020 with a Bachelor Degree in Nonprofit Administration. Isabella’s excitement for dentistry is contagious and we love her youthful spirit!
Kim N. began working for Family Dentistry of Caledonia in 2003 after graduating from the dental hygiene program at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Kim loves being a hygienist because of being able to help her patients achieve healthier teeth and smiles. Kim likes to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys watching the sunrise and the sunset while at home on the lake.
Kim M. has a genuine passion for those around her. Kim graduated from the dental hygiene program at Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) and began working at Family Dentistry of Caledonia in 2001. You will be sure to find her encouraging each patient to actively excel in caring for their overall oral and systemic health here at Family Dentistry of Caledonia. Kim enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Kristi graduated from both the dental assisting and dental hygiene programs from GRCC and has been practicing dental hygiene since 1988. She has worked at Family Dentistry of Caledonia since 2012. Kristi enjoys being a hygienist and helping people achieve optimal oral health. Kristi is married and has two sons. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys camping in the summer months.
Carly graduated from GRCC's dental hygiene program. She has been part of the Family Dentistry of Caledonia team since early 2014. She loves her job and enjoys helping people appreciate and love their smiles. In her free time, Carly enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her husband, daughter, family, friends and her dog, Porter.
Sydney is a graduate of Grand Rapids Community College’s 2021 Dental Hygiene Program. Sydney has been employed here at Family Dentistry of Caledonia since her GRCC graduation. Sydney’s favorite thing with dental hygiene is helping people feel confident with their smile and expanding the patient's knowledge of oral health. When Sydney is not in the office she enjoys doing outdoor activities, being in the sunshine, and spending time with friends and family.
Heather has worked at Family Dentistry of Caledonia since 2011 and loves it. She is a graduate of GRCC's Dental Assisting Program and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She loves being an RDA because she enjoys working with and helping people. In her spare time she likes to go camping, hang out with her husband, friends and family, and play softball. She especially enjoys spending time with her daughter and 2 sons.
Kelly is a graduate of GRCC's Dental Assisting Program and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She has been working at Family Dentistry of Caledonia since June 2005. She loves the variety of dental treatment we provide in our office. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with her husband Rob and their three children.
Kennedy graduated from GRCC’s Dental Assisting Program in 2019 as a Registered Dental Assistant and has been working at Family Dentistry of Caledonia ever since. She enjoys being a dental assistant because she likes knowing that she is making a positive dental experience for each patient while she is helping transform their smile. When Kennedy is not working she enjoys spending time with her son, going out with friends, and hanging out in the boat while on the lake.
